Lori and Scott have just gotten back from their latest update with Al Gore on climate change. They were both concerned enough about what they were hearing about the CO2 increases that they agreed to hold an update as soon as possible.
What they learned was that there has been a substantial increase in CO2 in the atmosphere since they first trained with Al in 2007 and that the pace of the increase is not slowing down. Additionally, there is much greater awareness of the importance of changing how we produce and use energy.
The question is whether the human race will muster enough political will to control carbon emissions in time to avoid climate disasters that will be unstoppable in about ten years or so.
