with Tedde Rinker, D.O. and Lori
Grace, M.A.
Do you from time to time feel depressed, moody, or irritable? Do you experience any of the following symptoms?
* Brain Fog
* Memory Loss
* Confusion
* Difficulty Concentrating
* Tinnitus
* Headaches
* Aches and Pains
* Drop in Sexual Energy
If you or someone you know experiences any of the symptoms above, come to this highly informative evening and learn about the hidden epidemic that exists all over the U.S. and Canada: Lyme Disease.
During this evening we will watch the movie Under Our Skin and a short film about Lab 257. We will hear from Dr. Tedde Rinker, a Lyme Disease expert who has dealt with the disease in her own body. We will also learn from other patients and professionals. This evening will include time for questions and answers.
Have you, or do you know someone who has, recently experienced a tick bite?
Do you have someone in your life who suffers from what has been diagnosed as fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or lupus, and who never seems to be able to get better?
Do you, or does someone else you know, have dramatic swings in energy, perhaps only sexual energy, that neither of you understand?
Have you been diagnosed with Lyme disease, or do you know someone who has been diagnosed with it? Have you had repeated sex with someone who has, or has had, Lyme disease?
If you currently have Lyme disease, are you wanting to know about more holistic methods that are currently being used to treat it or to supplement traditional treatments? Are you aware of the possible origins of Lyme disease connected with germ warfare conducted near Lyme, Connecticut by our government in the late 1980's and early 1990's?
If you would like to become more educated on this terrible disease, come to an evening with Lori Grace and Tedde Rinker, DO, a physician who, herself, has battled Lyme disease and who has a practice treating others who have had it. We will watch a powerful movie called Under Our Skin and discuss Lyme disease, related viruses, strategies to heal from them, ways to avoid contracting them and the political situation that surrounds them.

Dr. Tedde Marie Rinker, MD, attended Medical school at Michigan State University, graduating from the MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1978. Even though she pursued psychiatric training, including a residency in General Psychiatry, her primary interest has always been the mind-brain and mind-body connections, and how to achieve healing of the whole person.
In 1984, she co-founded The Center for Stress Medicine in San Jose, CA. This clinic specialized in evaluating and treating people with stress-related medical illnesses, such as ulcer and colon disease, migraine headaches, panic attacks, insomnia, chronic fatigue, post heart attack recovery and the full spectrum of psychiatric medical condition. In 1992 she began to collect data on one of the anti-aging hormones, DHEA, and how it relates to the condition of memory and cognitive decline, especially in patients with chronic fatigue and depression. She had a great deal of success treating this condition, which is a very complex and seriously disables the person who has it.
Dr. Rinker has been a Board Certified Physician in Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine since 2000, and has served as an Examiner for the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. Recently she has become an advocate for full-spectrum health care for patients with Lyme disease and treats the associated hormonal and nutritional symptoms, and is training with ILADS and Turn The Corner Foundation to treat the infections with antibiotics along with holistic care.
In 2002, she wrote the book, Anti-Aging Medical Practice for Primary Care Physicians. This has been offered as an e-learning course for physicians and healthcare practitioners and interested individuals through her website. It is helpful to physicians and healthcare practitioners who want to learn more about the basics of bio-identical hormone replacement, the principles of anti-aging medicine, and the specifics of treatment. (The course is currently offline, undergoing updating and revisions.) Dr. Rinker has recently published a new book, The Renegade Patient, a guide for people who want to get the best health care available, and want to learn how to manage the health care system, their records, and how to utilize complementary/alternative medicine.
