with David Mudge

In this two hour introductory class we will explore:
- What is Permaculture?
- Why gardening as we know it is such hard work!
- Comforting wisdom from the forest for those who have a brown thumb.
- Gardening in limited space and time.
- Ways to create holistic landscape designs that are modeled after Nature, serving multiple functions in cooperation with human needs.
- Why exclusively planting “All Natives” may not always be our first choice.
- Gardens for food, sanctuary, beauty and nourishment of the Soul.
- Gardens that reconnect us with the Earth and consequently the Divine.
Permaculture has often been described as a 10,000 year old cutting edge technology. It embraces a set of techniques and principles for designing sustainable human settlements.
Come join David for a journey into the future of your garden.
